Actual transportation time is paid from the time you leave the yard to the time you arrive at the job site, and between jobs, as well as the time it takes to return to the yard .... Regardless of traffic problems or the number of bridges to cross...!
Transportation time is paid for with fringe benefits (pension fund, vacation, group insurance), which represents an amount of approximately $15.00 per hour, in addition to your hourly remuneration as stipulated in the CCQ agreements.
After accumulating a total of 10 hours of transportation in the same week, the excess of other transportation hours becomes normal working hours.
